What's a social network? Please provide examples. Do you belong to one?

A social network is basically an RSS feed. It is an online community where people (members) can connect with each other. Often, at least a profile is accessible to the connected members. LinkedIn, Facebook, and MySpace are all examples of popular social networking sites. I belong to Facebook and LinedIn.
