Is there a difference between a Wiki and a Blog? Which would you be more likely to use?

The difference between a Wiki and a Blog has to do with who can contribute to the content. A wiki is basically an open forum for whomever, whereas a blog's content is added by the author(s). I think I would use a blog instead of a wiki for my classes so I could control the content. I would, however, use a wiki for specific projects.
